Main Drawbacks
  • No overnight or swing positions on simulated accounts: every position must be closed by 4:45 PM ET Monday to Friday. Hedging is banned outright, including across accounts held at other prop firms, and repeated violations can mean permanent restriction. High-frequency trading is never permitted, and bots, EAs and VPS use require prior disclosure plus proof that the strategy is solely yours. Microscalping is policed by automated systems: at least 50% of trades must be held longer than 10 seconds and at least 50% of profit must come from those trades. Only two platforms are offered, CQG Desktop and TradingView, the choice is locked in at checkout and cannot be switched once a trade is placed, and the TradingView route needs a paid Essential plan bought by the trader. 10FOUR is unavailable in 75+ jurisdictions for regulatory reasons. The firm publishes no founding date and names no founders, and its operator Ten Four Group is a Hong Kong entity that states it is not a broker, investment firm or financial services provider. The help centre and the live product catalogue disagree on the $25K and $50K ORIGIN and DAILY loss limits ($1,000/$2,000 versus $1,250/$2,500) and on DAILY evaluation prices, an unresolved legacy-versus-current split. The TrustPilot profile is unclaimed and carries a single 1-star review. The in-house copy trader is marked unavailable as of the firm's own August 2026 update.
