Account Size

Definition

The amount of capital in a funded trading account, typically ranging from $5,000 to $400,000.

How It Works

Account size refers to the total buying power available in your funded account. Common sizes include $10K, $25K, $50K, $100K, $150K, $200K, and $400K.

Larger accounts have higher challenge fees but allow bigger position sizes and potentially larger profits. Most traders start with $25K-$100K accounts.

The price-to-size ratio varies significantly between firms - a $100K account might cost $400 at one firm and $800 at another. Use our Cost Calculator to compare pricing across firms at your preferred account size.
