Payout Proof
Definition
Evidence (usually screenshots or certificates) that a trader has successfully received a profit payout from a prop firm.
How It Works
Payout proofs are the ultimate trust signal for a prop firm. They demonstrate that the firm actually pays out profits to traders, which is the #1 concern when evaluating a firm.
Proofs typically show: the payout amount, payment method, trader name (sometimes redacted), and date. PropFirmMap maintains a Verified Payouts page where traders can submit their payout proofs for community verification.
When evaluating a firm, look for: volume of payout proofs, consistency (regular payouts, not just one-offs), and diversity of payment amounts and methods.
