Firewood Funded Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares
Firewood Funded
Firewood Funded is the proprietary trading programme of FirewoodFX, a CFD broker registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The operating entity named in the customer agreement is Firewood Global Ltd, registration number 22160 BC 2014. The programme sells three evaluation routes - a two-phase challenge, a one-phase FastTrack, and an Instant funded account - across twelve priced plans starting at $40. All trading runs on FireTrader, the firm's own platform, and there is no MetaTrader or cTrader option.
One point belongs at the front rather than buried in the terms. The firm's own footer states that "Although licensed, FirewoodFunded does not offer real trading accounts on this website. Its services are limited to simulated trading programs," and clause 3 of the customer agreement confirms that all trading in the programme "is executed in a demo or simulated environment." Capital allocation against a trader's simulated performance is at the company's discretion.
Plans and pricing
The two evaluation programmes cap at a $10,000 account. Only the Instant route reaches $50,000. Prices below are the firm's list prices, shown alongside the price its pricing widget displays with the promotional code FIREWOOD30 applied. That code was advertised on the homepage on 29 August 2026 with a countdown ending 31 August 2026.

The fee is charged once, with no subscription. The customer agreement states that the fee becomes non-refundable once the trader has begun trading or otherwise accessed the evaluation environment. Payment is by USDT, with local methods in selected countries: Indonesian Rupiah via QRIS or virtual account, Nigerian Naira, Kenyan Shilling and Ghanaian Cedi.
Rules by program
Firewood Funded publishes a full per-phase rulebook on the plan card before purchase. The 2-Phase route runs an Assessment phase with a 10% profit target, a 6% maximum daily drawdown and a 10% maximum total drawdown; a Qualification phase at an 8% target, 5% daily and 8% total; then a funded phase with no profit target, a 2% daily limit and a 3% total limit. Each of the three stages carries a 90-day duration.
The FastTrack 1-Phase route has a single qualification stage at an 8% target, 3% daily and 6% total, over 90 days, followed by a funded stage at 2% daily and 3% total with a 360-day window. The Instant account skips evaluation entirely and starts at the funded parameters: no profit target, 2% daily and 3% total.
Drawdown is measured on a static, balance-based model on both evaluation programmes. The Instant account uses a trailing maximum drawdown, which is the stricter of the two and is worth noting given that Instant is the only route to a $50,000 account.
Firewood Funded publishes no payout cadence, no first-payout window, no processing time and no minimum or maximum withdrawal on any public page. The firm's own challenge rule catalogue contains no payout-cycle rule of any kind. "Fast Payouts" appears as marketing copy only. A trader cannot tell from the public site when a first payout would arrive.
Other rules apply across every stage. Trades opened and closed inside 180 seconds are not allowed. News trading is prohibited within five minutes either side of a high-impact economic event. Martingale strategies are accepted and overnight holding is allowed. Accounts go inactive after 30 days. Leverage is 1:100 on forex and gold and 1:2 on crypto for the 2-Phase and Instant programmes, and 1:50 on forex and gold for FastTrack. A consistency rule applies for payout: the five most profitable trading days may not account for more than 50% of total profit.
Each phase also carries minimum activity requirements. The 2-Phase route asks for 5 trading days, 20 closed trades in each evaluation phase and 5 profitable days. FastTrack asks for 15 trading days. The Instant account asks for 5 trading days, 5 closed trades and 7 profitable days. Commission is not charged on forex and gold.
Pros and cons
In its favour:
- The full per-phase rulebook, including targets, both drawdown limits, minimum trading days and stage duration, is visible on the plan card before payment.
- A single 80% profit split applies to every programme and every account size, including Instant, with no upsell tier required to reach it.
- Entry starts at $40 for a $2,000 two-phase challenge or a $1,000 Instant account, and no commission is charged on forex and gold.
Against it:
- No payout cadence, processing time or withdrawal limit is published anywhere, so the payout side of the product is undocumented.
- The evaluation programmes cap at a $10,000 account, and only Instant reaches $50,000. Each of the three comparison firms below sells the same two-phase format at $10,000 for less.
- The operator is registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which does not license forex or CFD activity, and the site states it is licensed without naming a regulator or a licence number.
How it compares
To keep the comparison honest, the table below fixes the account size at $10,000 and the format at a two-phase CFD challenge, and quotes each firm's profit targets in the units that firm publishes itself.
| Firm | $10K 2-step price | Phase targets | Profit split | Payout cadence | PropFirmMap score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Firewood Funded | $125 | 10% then 8% | 80% | Not published | 4.5 (D) |
Funding Pips | $66 | 8% then 5% | 80-100% | Weekly | 8.9 (A+) |
The5ers | $78 | 8% then 5% | Up to 100% | Every 14 days | 8.7 (A+) |
| $89 | 10% then 5% | Up to 90% | Every 14 days | 8.3 (A+) |
At the same account size and the same challenge format, Firewood Funded is the most expensive of the four and asks for the largest combined profit target. Its 10% then 8% requirement sits above FTMO's 10% then 5% and well above the 8% then 5% asked by Funding Pips and The5ers. Its 80% split is the flat figure the others treat as a floor. And it is the only one of the four that does not publish when a payout arrives.
The cheap headline entry is real, but it buys a smaller account. $40 buys a $2,000 two-phase challenge at Firewood Funded. At the $10,000 size where the comparison is like for like, the pricing advantage reverses.
On reviews and track record
Firewood Funded has no TrustPilot profile of its own: the page for funded.firewoodfx.com returned a 404 when checked on 29 August 2026. The parent broker is a separate matter and has its own profile at firewoodfx.com, rated 4.8 from 491 reviews, claimed in March 2021, carrying 33 reviews in the last 12 months. That score belongs to the brokerage, not to the prop programme, and should not be read as a rating of the funded product. The broker's own reply to a review confirms it was established in 2014, consistent with the 2014 company registration.
A published rulebook and an unpublished payout schedule are an odd pairing.PropFirmMap
Verdict
Firewood Funded is the clearer half of a product with a documented front end and an undocumented back end. Everything a trader must do to pass is published before purchase, per phase, in detail. Everything about getting paid afterwards is not published at all. Combined with a $10,000 ceiling on both evaluation routes, a trailing drawdown on the only larger account, and an offshore registration with an unnamed licence, it carries a PropFirmMap score of 4.5 and a safety grade of D.
It suits a trader who wants a low-cost, small-account evaluation on a broker-backed platform, who is comfortable with a simulated programme, and who is willing to accept an unpublished payout schedule. A trader whose priority is a documented payout cycle, a larger funded account, or a licensed jurisdiction will find better-documented terms elsewhere at a similar or lower price.
All figures above were verified against the firm's own pricing widget, challenge rule catalogue and customer agreement on 29 August 2026.
