Hyper Funding Review 2026: Plans, Rules and Payouts
Hyper Funding
Hyper Funding is a Dubai-based simulated proprietary trading firm operating at thehyperfunding.com, listed on PropFirmMap as a CFD firm. It runs four funding routes under a motorsport naming scheme: Slipstream (instant funding), DRS (one phase), Downforce (two phases) and Backmarker (three phases). Account sizes run from $10K to $200K in the checkout configurator, and the firm advertises funding of up to $400,000 in simulated capital when accounts are combined. Every figure below was read directly from the firm's own homepage, its How It Works page and its live checkout configurator on 9 August 2026, plus its public TrustPilot profile. Where two of the firm's own pages state something differently, this review says so rather than picking one.
Plans and pricing
Hyper Funding sells two tiers of every route, Standard and Pro. The table below is the Standard tier, taken from the checkout configurator at checkout.thehyperfunding.com, which lists a fee for each account size once a challenge type is selected. These are list fees before any discount code.
| Plan | Phases | Profit target | Daily drawdown | Max drawdown | Profit split | Payouts | Leverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Slipstream (instant funding) | 0 | No evaluation | 3% | 5% | 70% | Not stated on the comparison table | Not stated |
| DRS (one step) | 1 | 9% | 4% | 6% trailing | 80% | Biweekly | 1:30 |
| Downforce (two step) | 2 | 8% then 5% | 4% | 10% static | 80% | Biweekly | 1:100 |
| Backmarker (three step) | 3 | 6% per phase | 4% | 10% static | 90% | Weekly | 1:100 |
Standard tier fees by account size, as listed in the configurator:
| Plan | $10K | $25K | $50K | $100K | $200K |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DRS (one step) | $69 | $109 | $209 | $389 | $629 |
| Downforce (two step) | $59 | $109 | $239 | $399 | $749 |
| Backmarker (three step) | $39 | $79 | $149 | $229 | $369 |
| Slipstream (instant funding) | Listed as from $299; per-size fees were not reachable from the public configurator | ||||
The Pro tier is a separate price list. The configurator describes it as unlocking weekly payouts, news trading and weekend holding. Downforce Pro is listed at $75, $139, $299, $499 and $939 across the same five sizes, with an 85% split and weekly payouts. The other Pro routes are listed as from $375 (Slipstream Pro), from $89 (DRS Pro) and from $49 (Backmarker Pro). A promotion running on the homepage at the time of writing advertises 30% off all challenges with the code HYPER30, shown with a countdown timer and no fixed end date in the page text.
The homepage headline advertises keeping up to 95% of profits. The highest per-route split we could read in the checkout configurator was 90%, on Backmarker Standard. The How It Works comparison table words Downforce and Backmarker as "up to 90%", while the configurator shows 80% for Downforce Standard and 90% for Backmarker Standard.
Rules summary
Drawdown type varies by route. DRS uses a 6% trailing maximum drawdown, while Downforce and Backmarker both use a 10% static maximum drawdown. Slipstream, the instant funding route, carries the tightest limits of the four: a 3% daily drawdown and a 5% maximum drawdown, with no profit target because there is no evaluation phase. Daily drawdown is 4% on all three evaluation routes.
All three evaluation routes require a minimum of 5 trading days and impose no maximum duration, listed as unlimited. Slipstream has no minimum day requirement. The firm gives one free reset during the evaluation stage if an account is breached, described on the How It Works page as being on the house.
On trading permissions the firm's two pages do not agree, and this is worth checking before buying. The How It Works comparison table shows news trading and weekend holding both permitted, with check marks, across all four Standard routes. The checkout configurator, on the same brand, describes the Pro tier as the tier that "unlocks weekly payouts, news trading & weekend holding", which implies those permissions are not part of the Standard tier. We could not resolve which is correct from public pages, so treat news and weekend permissions as something to confirm in writing with support before purchase.
Payout timing has the same problem in a milder form. The How It Works page says a first payout can be requested after as little as 3 days of live trading and that payouts are sent within 24 hours, alongside a stated policy of adding $1,000 if the firm is late. The configurator lists payout frequency as biweekly for DRS and Downforce and weekly for Backmarker. Platforms are MetaTrader 5 and TradeLocker.
Pros
- Entry pricing is low against the routes it sits beside: $39 for a $10K three phase evaluation and $59 for a $10K two phase evaluation, both list prices before the advertised 30% code.
- No maximum duration on any evaluation route, and a stated free reset during the evaluation stage.
- The firm replies publicly on TrustPilot, including to negative reviews. TrustPilot's own profile panel records that it has replied to 100% of negative reviews.
Cons
- Two of the firm's own pages state trading permissions differently, as described above, and the discrepancy sits on the exact rules a trader is most likely to be judged against.
- The public review base is thin: 40 TrustPilot reviews at a 3.8 rating, on a profile claimed in March 2026. That is a small sample to judge payout reliability from.
- A 1 star TrustPilot review dated 20 May 2026 describes $300K of funded accounts being breached under a "same strategy" rule on the day a withdrawal was due, after the reviewer says support told them their setup was acceptable. Hyper Funding replied publicly, stated the decision was not related to the payout request, and confirmed it stood by the review findings. Both accounts are on the public profile and readers can weigh them directly.
How it compares
Hyper Funding carries a PropFirmMap Score of 4.9 out of 10 and a safety grade of C. The three CFD firms below are the highest scoring firms in our database whose lowest listed evaluation fee sits in a comparable band, so the comparison is on entry cost rather than on scale.
Funding Pips FTMO
City Traders Imperium
| Firm | PropFirmMap Score | Safety grade | Lowest listed fee | Max profit split | TrustPilot | Payout frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hyper Funding | 4.9 | C | $39 | 90% (configurator) | 3.8 (40 reviews) | Biweekly, weekly on Backmarker |
| Funding Pips | 8.9 | A+ | $29 | 100% | 4.5 (62,062 reviews) | Weekly |
| FTMO | 8.3 | A+ | $79 | 90% | 4.8 (42,594 reviews) | Bi-weekly (every 14 days) |
| City Traders Imperium | 8.3 | A | $29 | 100% | 4.3 (1,696 reviews) | On-demand |
The gap in this table is not price. Hyper Funding's $39 entry sits between Funding Pips and City Traders Imperium at $29 and FTMO at $79, so on cost of entry it is competitive with established CFD firms. The gap is track record. Funding Pips, FTMO and City Traders Imperium each carry review counts in the thousands or tens of thousands, and each holds an A or A+ safety grade in our database, against Hyper Funding's C and its 40 reviews. Profit split follows the same pattern: 90% at the highest Hyper Funding route in the configurator, against 100% at both Funding Pips and City Traders Imperium. A trader choosing on headline economics alone would not have a strong reason to pick Hyper Funding over the three above; the case for it would rest on its specific rule set, such as the 10% static drawdown on the multi phase routes or the unlimited evaluation duration.
Verdict
Hyper Funding is a young CFD firm with a clearly presented product line, competitive entry pricing and an unusually wide choice of routes for its size, spanning instant funding through a three phase evaluation. It is likely to suit traders who want a low cost multi phase evaluation with a static drawdown and no time limit, and who are comfortable buying from a firm whose public payout history is still short. It is a weaker fit for traders who need certainty on news and weekend trading permissions, because the firm's own pages currently describe those permissions two different ways, or for traders who weigh a long, high volume public review record heavily. Anyone buying should confirm the permissions and payout terms for their specific route in writing before paying, and should note that our own firm page data for Hyper Funding predates the product line shown here and is being refreshed.
