PropW Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares

PropW PropW

PropW is a crypto-only proprietary trading firm operated by PROPW INNOVATIONS DMCC and based in the United Arab Emirates. Its Trustpilot company profile describes it as launched by the Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange CoinW. The product is a two-phase simulated skill assessment: pass both phases and PropW issues a simulated training account of up to 200,000 USDT, on which the trader keeps 80% of what the firm calls scholarship rewards, rising to 90% under what it describes as special incentive programs. Charting is provided through TradingView, trading runs 24/7 on crypto pairs with leverage of up to 5x, and positions may be held overnight. Our record lists an establishment date of January 2024. This review is built from PropW's own homepage FAQ, its published challenge rules endpoint and its User Agreement, all read on 28 August 2026.

Plans and pricing

PropW sells two assessment ladders, Standard Mode and Pro Mode, each with five levels. The firm calls the entry payment an audition fee. The figures below are the registration fees published by PropW's own challenge rules endpoint on 28 August 2026.

$100,000$99910%0.1%4%6%
$200,000$1,64910%0.1%4%6%

The two ladders are shaped differently rather than being cheap and expensive versions of one product. Standard Mode asks a 5% gain in phase 1 and a 10% gain in phase 2, and allows a 5% daily loss against an 8% to 10% account loss cap. Pro Mode reverses the effort: a 10% gain in phase 1 and a 0.1% gain in phase 2, but with tighter risk limits of 4% daily and 6% overall. Pro Mode also charges more for the same simulated balance, at $499 against $399 for a $50,000 account and $999 against $799 for a $100,000 account.

At the time of writing, PropW's rules endpoint carries an active discount of $10 on the $1,000 Standard Mode level, taking that audition fee to $5 within a discount window the endpoint records as running to 27 November 2026. The discount is applied automatically and no coupon code is published. Discount fields on the other nine levels carry deadlines that have already passed, so those nine currently charge the listed fee. Confirm the amount at checkout before paying.

A separate product, HourTrader, sits alongside the two ladders. It runs assessments of 1 to 8 hours on a fixed $10,000 simulated balance for an audition fee of $5 to $500, with reward multipliers of 2x, 5x and 10x. The default combination shown on the homepage, a 1 hour challenge at a $5 fee with a 2x multiplier, states a profit target of 135 USDT, a maximum drawdown of 75 USDT and an expected return of 10 USDT.

Rules and payouts

PropW's FAQ states that each level carries a performance target that must be reached with no open positions, that there is no maximum limit on trading days but a minimum of 5 trading days is required, and that both the trading day and the daily loss reset at 00:00 UTC+8. Breaching the maximum drawdown disqualifies the account; breaching the daily loss limit closes all positions. Traders may run up to 5 assessment accounts at once, though the FAQ notes only 1 active account is permitted during the training phase, with additional passing accounts queued and marked Pending Activation.

Rewards can be requested every 7 days and are distributed in USDT. Accepted payment methods are USDT, Visa and Mastercard, and the LinePay and PromptPay instant payment services.

Two inconsistencies are worth flagging because PropW publishes both sides itself. First, the FAQ states a minimum of 5 trading days and no maximum trading day limit, while the firm's rules endpoint records a minimum of 3 days and, for Pro Mode, assessment terms of 30 days for phase 1 and 10 days for phase 2. We hold no value for these fields rather than pick a side. Second, the FAQ's Q5 describes a two-phase route to becoming a PropW trader, while Q9 states that a funded simulated account is issued within 3 working days of reaching the phase 1 profit target. The page does not reconcile the two.

Trustpilot rating unavailable

Trustpilot displays no star rating for PropW, stating the rating is unavailable due to a breach of its guidelines and that it has removed a number of fake reviews for the company. The profile carries 68 reviews, 8 of them in the last 12 months, and is filed under Educational Institution and Cryptocurrency Service. Read on 28 August 2026.

What the paperwork says

PropW's User Agreement is explicit about what is being sold, and buyers should read it before paying. It states that the Platform "does not offer regulated financial services in any jurisdiction" and that during the assessment phase "no real funds are involved, and no actual profits or losses are incurred". Profit sharing is described as an internal incentive mechanism that does "not constitute a commitment to continuity, stability, or any minimum returns", with the firm reserving the right to adjust the rules.

The refund position has two parts. Section 6.8 states that paid service fees are non-refundable regardless of whether the user participates in or completes the challenge. Section 8.3 then offers a full refund of the initial challenge fee to users who complete both assessment phases and reach their first profit-sharing date, but states that this refund "can only be used toward enrolling in a new challenge". The refund is therefore a credit toward further trading with PropW rather than money returned.

Pros

  • Entry pricing starts at a $15 audition fee for a $1,000 Standard Mode account, currently discounted to $5 by the firm's own rules endpoint.
  • Reward requests are available every 7 days and paid in USDT, and up to 5 assessment accounts may run at once.
  • The firm publishes its per-level targets, daily loss limits and maximum account losses in a machine-readable rules endpoint, which makes the numbers checkable rather than marketing copy.

Cons

  • Trustpilot has withdrawn the star rating for a guidelines breach and states it removed fake reviews, so no independent rating is available.
  • The User Agreement states the platform does not offer regulated financial services in any jurisdiction, and frames payouts as an internal incentive mechanism with no commitment to continuity.
  • The advertised fee refund is redeemable only against another challenge, and minimum trading days and assessment time limits are stated inconsistently across the firm's own pages.

How PropW compares

Set against the other crypto-focused firms we track with overlapping price ranges, PropW's assessment economics are competitive and its trust signals are the weakest of the group. The comparison below uses each firm's cheapest published plan and its Trustpilot position as recorded in our database.

Breakout Breakout HyroTrader HyroTrader Carrot Funding Carrot Funding

Breakout enters at $20 against PropW's $15 and carries a 4.6 Trustpilot rating across 1,012 reviews, the deepest review base in this group. HyroTrader and Carrot Funding both start higher, at $89 and $65, and both pay on demand rather than on a 7-day cycle. All three carry a published Trustpilot rating, which PropW does not. On profit split the four firms are closely matched, with 80% as the common baseline and 90% reachable at Breakout, HyroTrader and PropW, so the split is not the field that separates them.

Verdict

PropW is priced competitively for crypto assessments and is unusually transparent about its per-level rules, publishing them in an endpoint anyone can read. It may suit traders who want a low-cost crypto assessment, want 24/7 trading with overnight holds, and are comfortable that the product is a simulated assessment rather than a regulated financial service. Traders who weight independent reputation heavily should note that Trustpilot has withdrawn PropW's rating over a guidelines breach and removed fake reviews, that the firm's own agreement disclaims regulated status and any commitment to continuity of payouts, and that the advertised fee refund is a credit toward another challenge rather than cash. Those are the terms PropW itself publishes, and they should be read before an audition fee is paid.
