TopTraderPrime Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares
TopTraderPrime
TopTraderPrime is a CFD prop firm that markets itself in French ("Prop firm française, support FR 7j/7") while contracting through Toptraderprime LLC, a company registered at 36 South 18th Avenue, Suite D, Brighton, Colorado, United States. It sells three evaluation formats - a one-phase challenge, a two-phase challenge and an instant funding account - across account sizes from $25,000 to $1,000,000. Accounts are denominated in US dollars but every fee is charged in euros. Trading runs on a browser-based terminal powered by TradingView, listing 47 instruments. The firm publishes a profit split that scales to 90%, an 8% maximum drawdown and a mandatory stop loss on every trade. Its TrustPilot profile carries a 4.2 rating from 56 reviews. PropFirmMap scores the firm 4.9 out of 10 with a safety grade of C.
Plans and pricing
Every price below was read from the firm's own product pages on 25 August 2026. Account capital is quoted in US dollars and the fee is quoted in euros, exactly as the firm publishes them. PropFirmMap does not convert between the two, because the firm does not publish an exchange rate.
| Account | Challenge 1 Phase | Challenge 2 Phases | Financement Instantané |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | 250€ | 225€ | Not offered |
| $50,000 | 340€ | 306€ | 1050€ |
| $100,000 | 499€ | 450€ | 1500€ |
| $200,000 | 960€ | 870€ | 2200€ |
| $300,000 | 1300€ | 1190€ | 4000€ |
| $1,000,000 | 4300€ | 3900€ | 7000€ |
The pricing has an unusual shape: the two-phase challenge costs less than the one-phase challenge at every account size, 450€ against 499€ at $100,000. Most firms price the shorter evaluation lower, not higher. The one-phase challenge carries a single 10% profit target. The two-phase challenge splits the requirement into 10% in phase one and 7% in phase two, so it asks for more cumulative profit in exchange for the lower fee. Instant funding skips the evaluation entirely and is described by the firm as a simulated trading account; at $100,000 it costs 1500€ against 499€ for the one-phase challenge. All three formats are sold as a single payment with what the firm calls lifetime access to the account, and the evaluation itself has no time limit.
The two-phase challenge is cheaper than the one-phase challenge at every size, but requires 10% then 7% rather than a single 10%. The fee saving is paid for in profit target.
Rules summary
Drawdown is identical across all three products: a maximum daily loss of 4% of capital and a maximum total drawdown of 8% of initial capital. The firm does not publish whether the total drawdown trails or stays static, and PropFirmMap records that field as unknown rather than assuming either. Two per-trade limits apply that are less common in this market: a maximum profit of 3% and a maximum loss of 2% on any single trade. A stop loss is mandatory on every trade, and the firm states that two violations lead to suspension.
News trading is permitted except on red three-star announcements, where trading is closed for 10 minutes before and after the release. Scalping and high-frequency trading are prohibited: the terms define any trade closed in under 100 seconds as potential scalping, as well as repeatedly capturing moves of 2 pips or less. Hedging, martingale, grid trading, latency arbitrage, VPNs and VPSs are all prohibited. Expert advisors and copy trading are permitted. Maximum leverage is 1:100 on forex. Consistency is enforced by requiring that no single trade exceed 25% of total profit. Accounts are closed after 15 days of inactivity. Capital is capped at $1,000,000 per account and $3,000,000 across all accounts held by one client, and the terms state that accounts belonging to the same client are linked and can be offset against each other without prior notice.
On payouts, the firm publishes a scaling split rather than a flat one. On challenge accounts the trader receives 70% at the first payout, then 75%, 80%, 85% and 90% from the fifth payout onward. On instant funding accounts the scale starts lower, at 50%, and reaches 90% from the sixth payout. The first payout is available at 20 days on challenge accounts and after four weeks on instant funding, then every 14 days. Instant funding accounts carry a profit cap of 15% of capital.
Pros
- Rules are published in detail on a dedicated page rather than buried in the terms, including per-trade limits, prohibited strategies and the full payout scale.
- The evaluation has no time limit, and the account fee is a single payment with no recurring charge.
- French-language support is offered seven days a week, which is uncommon among CFD firms of this size.
Cons
- The firm's own published figures contradict each other. Its homepage states both 12,000 and 13,825 funded traders, and both 140+ and 180+ countries. Its schema.org markup advertises a 4.8 rating from 2,340 reviews, while its live TrustPilot profile shows 4.2 from 56 reviews.
- The refund terms conflict between two of the firm's own pages: the rules page states the entry fee is returned 50% at the first payout and 50% at the second, while the pricing table states the price is refunded in full at the first payout.
- The French positioning sits on a US contracting entity governed by US law, and US residents are excluded from the product. The firm is not regulated by any financial authority, and it does not publish a founding date.
The "10-7%" profit target chip appears on every product page including the one-phase challenge, whose own description states a single 10% target. Confirm which target applies to the product you are buying before paying.
How it compares
The closest comparison is the $100,000 account, where TopTraderPrime charges 499€ for the one-phase challenge. Three established CFD firms sit in the same fee band at that account size. Note that the peers below price in US dollars and TopTraderPrime prices in euros, so the fees are not directly comparable without an exchange rate the firm does not publish.
| Firm | $100K fee | Profit target | Daily loss | Max drawdown | Max split | PropFirmMap score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TopTraderPrime (1 Phase) | 499€ | 10% | 4% | 8% | 90% | 4.9 (C) |
| Funding Pips | $555 | 10% | 4% | 6% | 100% | 8.9 (A+) |
| The5ers | $545 | 8% | 5% | 10% | 100% | 8.7 (A+) |
| FundedNext (Stellar 1-Step) | $549.99 | 10% | 3% | 6% static | 95% | 8.5 (A+) |
Funding Pips
The5ers
FundedNext
On the numbers alone, TopTraderPrime's 8% maximum drawdown is more permissive than Funding Pips' 6% and FundedNext's 6% static, and less permissive than The5ers' 10%. Its 4% daily loss limit sits between FundedNext's 3% and The5ers' 5%. Where it separates most clearly is the profit split: 90% at the fifth payout, against 100% at Funding Pips and The5ers and 95% at FundedNext, and TopTraderPrime is the only one of the four whose split starts as low as 70% on challenge accounts and 50% on instant funding. The gap in PropFirmMap score is wide - 4.9 against 8.5 to 8.9 - and is driven mainly by the trust pillar, which carries 55% of the weight in the PropFirmMap score. The review base is the clearest single difference: TopTraderPrime has 56 TrustPilot reviews at 4.2, against 62,592 at 4.5 for Funding Pips, 35,844 at 4.7 for The5ers and 76,802 at 4.5 for FundedNext.
Verdict
TopTraderPrime publishes an unusually detailed rulebook and prices its evaluations below the market at small account sizes, with 225€ for a $25,000 two-phase challenge. It suits traders who want French-language support, an evaluation with no deadline, and who are comfortable holding positions under a mandatory stop loss with 3% profit and 2% loss caps per trade. It is a weaker fit for scalpers, given that any trade under 100 seconds may be treated as a rule breach, and for traders who want a high split early, since the scale starts at 70% and takes five payouts to reach 90%. The firm's own contradictory published figures on trader counts, country counts, review scores and refund terms are the clearest reason for its 4.9 score and C safety grade, and are worth resolving with the firm's support team before purchase. US residents are excluded.
A firm that contradicts its own published numbers in four places asks the buyer to do the verification it should have done itself.PropFirmMap
