Main Drawbacks
Automated trading is banned outright: no EAs, bots or scripts, and copy trading between different individuals is prohibited. News trading and weekend holding are both forbidden on the 2-Step Challenge. The headline 100% reward rate and 14-day payout cycle are paid add-ons; the defaults are 80% and every 21 exchange days. Fees are charged in EUR, and the first two payouts are capped.

PineX Capital is a simulated-funding prop firm operating through two entities: Pinex Software Solutions L.L.C-FZ in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence 2643553.01), which offers the TradeLocker platform, and PineX Capital Ltd., a Saint Lucia IBC (registration 2026-00566), which offers MetaTrader 5. The firm states in its own legal notice that it is not regulated by any financial supervisory authority, does not act as a broker and does not accept deposits: every account is simulated and funded with fictitious money. Marketing is aimed heavily at German-speaking traders. Programs include 1-Step and 2-Step Challenges, Instant Funding, Instant Funding Elite, Direct Funding and a Pay Later Challenge. The 2-Step Challenge requires 8% profit in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2 against a static 4% daily and 10% maximum drawdown, with no time limit and no separate profit-consistency rule. The default reward rate is 80% and payouts run every 21 exchange days; a 100% reward rate and a 14-day cycle are sold as paid add-ons. Challenge fees are charged in EUR. Access to MetaTrader 5 is blocked for US citizens and residents.
