Dolvero Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares
Dolvero is a simulated-trading prop firm operated by DKZ INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES L.L.C, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates (registration number 2701441) with offices at RAG Tower, Al Barsha 1, Dubai. It sells CFD and crypto evaluations on MT5 and on a Bybit-based demo environment, alongside an Instant Funding tier that skips the evaluation entirely. Account sizes run from $3K to $200K and entry prices from $29 to $1,249. Dolvero does not publish a founding date anywhere on its site, so we record that field as unknown rather than estimate it. The firm is not a regulated broker or investment firm, and all trading is conducted on demo accounts with virtual capital. Stratinova LTD, a Cyprus company (HE475207), appears on the TrustPilot profile as a contact address but is named in the terms only as the EU payment agent for EEA transactions.
Plans and pricing
Dolvero runs five evaluation programs that we model. The CFD Classic 2-Step and the CFD 1-Step Instant Evaluation trade on MT5. The Crypto 2-Step and Crypto 1-Step evaluations run on a Bybit-based demo environment with leverage up to 50x. Instant Funding has no evaluation phase at all. Separate Prediction Markets and CME Futures programs also exist on the site but are not modelled here. Every price below is the list price recorded from the Dolvero pricing widget at dolvero.com.

The crypto programs price identically to their CFD counterparts at matching account sizes, and neither crypto program offers a $5K tier. The maximum loss limit is not the same type across programs, which matters more than the headline percentage: the CFD Classic 2-Step is 10% static and the Crypto 2-Step is 6% static, both fixed below the starting balance, while the CFD 1-Step, the Crypto 1-Step and Instant Funding all use a trailing limit that follows equity upward. A trailing 6% is a tighter constraint than a static 6% once an account is in profit. The daily loss limit is static on every program, calculated from the starting balance. Every evaluation carries a five trading day minimum, each day counting only if it moves at least 0.5%, except Instant Funding, which has none.
Three of the five programs (CFD 1-Step, Crypto 1-Step and Instant Funding) use a trailing maximum loss. The 2-Step programs use a static one. Two accounts can advertise the same 6% and behave very differently once the account is in profit.
Rules that decide the outcome
The daily loss limit is calculated from the starting balance at market open and resets at midnight platform time, which is UTC on the Dolvero WebTrader and broker server time on MT5 (typically 21:00 to 22:00 UTC). It counts both realised and unrealised losses, so an open drawdown can breach the account without a single closed trade.
Risk per trade is capped at 2% of the current account balance, applied to total combined risk in the same direction. That cap can be removed with the paid No Risk Limit add-on, which the rules page prices at plus 20% of the challenge fee, though the checkout widget adds $137 to the $549 CFD 2-Step $100K plan, closer to 25%. We report both figures as published rather than reconcile them. On that same plan the other add-ons read $82 for weekend holding, $82 for news trading and $110 for the 90/10 profit split. News trading is blocked on CFD challenges within 30 minutes either side of high-impact events (NFP, CPI, rate decisions, GDP and central bank speeches) unless the News Trading add-on is bought at plus 15%. Weekend holding is likewise prohibited unless the Weekend Holding add-on is bought at plus 15%. Crypto challenges carry neither restriction, since those markets trade continuously.
Expert Advisors are permitted on CFD challenges with pre-approval, which Dolvero states is reviewed within 24 to 48 hours, and a private VPS with a dedicated IP is allowed on the same basis. On crypto challenges bots run without approval. High-frequency trading remains prohibited throughout. Hedging, copy trading and third-party signals, martingale and grid strategies, tick scalping, arbitrage, coordinating trades across multiple Dolvero accounts and third-party account management all result in immediate account termination without a refund. Paid mid-program resets are not offered; after a breach the route back is buying a new account.
Evaluations have no time limit and no inactivity limit, but the headline 80/20 split, the right to hold over a weekend, the right to trade the news and the right to size past 2% are each sold as separate paid add-ons rather than included. Price the plan you actually intend to trade, not the list price.
Pros
- No time limit and no inactivity limit on any CFD or crypto evaluation, so an account cannot expire on the calendar.
- The evaluation fee is refunded in full with the second funded payout on every program, and payouts run on a 14 day cycle with approved requests released to the payment provider within 24 hours.
- Dolvero publishes a live payout ledger at app.dolvero.com/live-ledger and a dated public changelog of every rule change, which is more disclosure than most firms at this price point offer.
Cons
- The standard split is 80/20 and reaching 90/10 costs the paid Profit Split Boost add-on, which adds 20% to the fee. Instant Funding starts lower still at 70/30.
- A single trade idea risking more than 2% of the current balance ends the evaluation on the first violation with no warning, and prohibited strategies trigger termination without refund.
- Dolvero is not a regulated broker or investment firm, all trading is simulated on demo accounts, and no founding date is published, so the operating history cannot be independently dated.
How Dolvero compares
At the $100K CFD two-step tier, which is where the market is most crowded, Dolvero lists at $549. Below are three published CFD firms whose $100K two-step plans sit in the same price band, taken from our own firm records.
| Firm | $100K plan | Price | Profit target | Daily loss | Max loss | Payouts |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dolvero | CFD Classic 2-Step | $549 | 10% then 5% | 5% | 10% static | Every 14 days |
| FundedNext | Stellar 2-Step | $529.99 | 8% | 5% | 10% static | 24 hours guaranteed, first after 21 days |
| City Traders Imperium | 100K 2-Step Challenge | $549 | $10,000 | $5,000 | $10,000 | On demand from Bronze VIP tier |
| Fintokei | ProTrader $100K | $529 | 8% | 5% | 10% | Every 14 days |
FundedNext asks $529.99 for the same account size against Dolvero's $549 and sets a lower 8% profit target on identical 5% daily and 10% overall limits, so the pass condition is easier at a marginally lower price. Its published split reaches up to 95% and its first withdrawal comes after 21 days rather than 14.
City Traders Imperium matches Dolvero exactly on price at $549 and on the drawdown structure, but its recorded split range runs from 80% to 100% and payouts are on demand once a trader reaches the Bronze VIP tier rather than fixed to a fortnightly cycle. Fintokei is the closest structural match: $529, an 8% target, the same 5% and 10% limits, an 80% split and the same 14 day payout cycle.
Read together, Dolvero's $100K two-step is priced with the group but sets a higher 10% profit target than three of the four, and its 80/20 starting split is at or below what the other three publish before add-ons are counted. On our own scoring Dolvero currently sits at 5.1 with a B safety grade, against 8.5 for FundedNext, 8.3 for City Traders Imperium and 7.2 for Fintokei, a gap driven largely by how little operating history is publicly datable.
Unlimited time on the evaluation, but the split, the weekend and the news are all sold separately.PropFirmMap
Verdict
Dolvero is a reasonable fit for traders who want an evaluation with no clock on it, who trade inside a 2% per-idea risk budget by preference rather than by constraint, and who want a cheap way in: $29 for a $3K Instant Funding account and $49 for a $5K CFD evaluation are among the lower entry points in the CFD segment. The live payout ledger and dated changelog are concrete transparency measures that can be checked rather than taken on trust. It fits less well for traders who hold over weekends, trade high-impact news, or run copy trading and grid systems, because each of those is either a paid upgrade or an immediate termination. As with any simulated-funding product, the account is a demo account and Dolvero is not a regulated broker, so the payout obligation rests entirely on the firm's own terms.
