Hash Hedge Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares
Hash Hedge is a crypto and real-world-asset proprietary trading firm whose evaluations are sold by Empower Academy Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates under registration number 01010596 and based in Ras Al Khaimah. The firm sells two evaluation programs through a single pricing widget on its homepage: a 2-Stage Challenge from $5K to $200K, and a 1-Stage Challenge from $5K to $100K. Trading is futures-only on a browser-based proprietary terminal with no MT4 or MT5 install, quoted in USDT, covering 160+ crypto assets plus gold, silver, Brent, WTI, equities and indices, available 24/7 including weekends. Hash Hedge's Trustpilot profile, which is written by the company itself, dates the business to 2023; no incorporation date for Empower Academy Ltd is published on the site. The firm holds a 4.5 Trustpilot rating across 113 reviews and is not regulated as a financial services provider.
Plans and pricing
Hash Hedge prices 11 plans across its two programs. The 2-Stage Challenge runs from $5K to $200K, and the 1-Stage Challenge from $5K to $100K. Both are one-time payments, and there is no activation fee at the funded stage: the challenge fee is the only payment. A US Stocks variant of the 2-Stage Challenge is offered from $5K to $100K at the same 2-Stage prices. Prices below were read from the firm's own pricing widget.
| Account size | 2-Stage Challenge | 1-Stage Challenge |
|---|---|---|
| $5K | $79 | $99 |
| $10K | $99 | $159 |
| $25K | $299 | $349 |
| $50K | $499 | $599 |
| $100K | $799 | $999 |
| $200K | $1,393 | Not offered |
The two programs differ in more than price. The 1-Stage Challenge asks for a higher profit target in exchange for removing the second stage, and it applies tighter loss limits throughout. The 2-Stage Challenge spreads a lower target across two stages and allows more drawdown room. Neither program carries a time limit at any stage.
Rules
On the 2-Stage Challenge, Stage 1 requires an 8% profit target with a 5% maximum daily loss, a 10% maximum drawdown and a minimum of 5 trading days. Stage 2, the verification stage, lowers the target to 6% and the maximum drawdown to 8%, keeping the 5% daily loss limit and the 5 trading day minimum. The funded account has no profit target and keeps the 5% daily loss and 8% maximum drawdown.
On the 1-Stage Challenge, the single stage requires a 10% profit target with a 3% maximum daily loss, a 6% maximum drawdown and a minimum of 3 trading days. The funded account has no profit target and keeps the 3% daily loss and 6% maximum drawdown. Maximum leverage is 1:5 at every stage of both programs, and the trading period is unlimited throughout.
There is no consistency rule and no daily profit cap. Weekend and news trading are both allowed with no restrictions. Payouts run on a fixed 14 calendar day trading cycle: the minimum withdrawal is USD 100 and the maximum is USD 10,000 per cycle, paid in USDT to a wallet. Withdrawals are only permitted upon the successful completion of a profitable trading cycle. Where a cycle ends without profit but drawdown stays under 8% of the initial balance, no withdrawals are processed during that cycle.
Hash Hedge's homepage, its pricing widget's funded row and its on-site FAQ all state a profit split of up to 90%. Its binding Commercial Terms, dated 5 August 2026, state eighty percent (80%) in clause 1.1 and again in Section 3, where the same document adds that twenty percent (20%) is retained by the firm. No scaling mechanism between the two figures is published anywhere on the site, so the two cannot be read as a base rate and a scaled rate. PropFirmMap records this firm's profit split as unresolved rather than assuming either number. Traders should confirm the figure in writing before funding an account.
Pros
- No consistency rule and no daily profit cap, and both weekend and news trading are allowed without restriction.
- No activation fee at the funded stage, and no time limit at any stage of either program.
- 160+ crypto assets plus gold, silver, Brent, WTI, equities and indices are tradable 24/7 including weekends, in a browser terminal with no MT4 or MT5 install required.
Cons
- The advertised profit split of up to 90% conflicts with the 80% stated twice in the firm's own Commercial Terms dated 5 August 2026, with no published mechanism reconciling them.
- Withdrawals are capped at USD 10,000 per 14 calendar day cycle and are only possible once a full cycle completes, with a USD 100 minimum. USDT is the only accepted payment and payout method.
- Maximum leverage is capped at 1:5, trading is futures-only with no spot access, and pending payouts are forfeited on disqualification.
How it compares
Against other crypto prop firms in a similar fee range, Hash Hedge sits at the higher end for a $100K account and is the only one of the four below whose published profit split is unresolved. HyroTrader carries the strongest PropFirmMap score of the group and prices its $100K two-step at $579. Carrot Funding is closer on price at $699 and holds the highest Trustpilot rating of the four, though across a much smaller review count. Fondeo is the cheapest at the $100K level but carries a D safety grade.
| Firm | $100K plan | Profit split | Payout cadence | Trustpilot | PropFirmMap score | Safety grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Hash Hedge | $799 (2-Stage) | Unresolved: 90% advertised, 80% in Commercial Terms | 14 calendar days | 4.5 (113) | 4.9 | B |
HyroTrader | $579 (Two Step) | 80% scaling to 90% | On-demand | 4.2 (239) | 6.6 | B |
Carrot Funding | $699 (2-Phase) | 80% | On-demand | 4.6 (25) | 5.5 | C |
Fondeo | $300 (Subscription) | 70-90% | Daily | 3.4 (8) | 5.2 | D |
The payout cadence is the clearest structural difference. HyroTrader and Carrot Funding both process payouts on demand and Fondeo processes daily, while Hash Hedge requires a full 14 calendar day cycle to complete before any withdrawal can be requested, and caps that withdrawal at USD 10,000. For a trader holding a $200K account, that cap binds well before the account's earning capacity does.
Verdict
Hash Hedge is a reasonable fit for traders who want 24/7 crypto and commodity futures access in a browser with no platform install, who value the absence of a consistency rule and a daily profit cap, and who are comfortable transacting entirely in USDT. Its rule set is published clearly and its Trustpilot rating of 4.5 across 113 reviews is solid for a firm of this age. Two things should be settled before committing money: the profit split, which the firm states as up to 90% in marketing and as 80% in the contract that actually binds it, and the payout structure, where a 14 calendar day cycle and a USD 10,000 per cycle cap are materially more restrictive than the on-demand payouts offered by several peers at a lower price for the same account size.
