Taurus Arena Review 2026: Plans, Rules and Payouts

Taurus Arena Taurus Arena

Taurus Arena (TAURUS ARENA LTD) is a futures prop trading firm registered in Cyprus, with an established date of 2025 in our records. It runs simulated evaluations across three account sizes, 25K, 50K and 100K, and splits its offering into three programs: PRIME, FREES and DIRECT PRIME. PRIME and FREES are monthly-subscription evaluations that differ in what you pay up front versus what you pay on passing. DIRECT PRIME is a one-time payment that skips the evaluation and places you straight into a simulated profit account. Traders who pass receive what the firm calls a Sim Profit Account, and payouts from that account are split 85/15 in the trader's favour. On TrustPilot the firm holds a 4.7 rating across 84 reviews, and its profile is not suspended.

Plans and pricing

Taurus Arena publishes nine plans, three account sizes across each of its three programs. PRIME charges a lower monthly fee during the evaluation but adds a $119 one-time activation fee once you pass. FREES charges a higher monthly fee and no activation fee on success. DIRECT PRIME is a single payment with no evaluation phase.

Rules and trading conditions

Drawdown on every plan is trailing, sized at $1,000, $2,000 and $3,000 for the 25K, 50K and 100K accounts respectively. An optional EOD Drawdown add-on, listed at $19 with a promotional price of $9.50, switches the account to end-of-day drawdown and introduces a soft daily loss limit. The add-on carries over to the Sim Profit Account after a successful evaluation.

PRIME and FREES evaluations carry no daily loss limit, no consistency requirement and no minimum trading days, so a passing run can in principle be completed quickly. DIRECT PRIME differs: it applies a 20% consistency rule and replaces the profit target with a safety net figure. Maximum contract limits scale with account size at 2, 4 and 6 contracts.

News trading is permitted without restriction, including around interest rate decisions, CPI and PPI releases, Non-Farm Payrolls, central bank meetings and GDP reports. A minimum trade duration of 5 seconds applies. Supported platforms in our records are Volumetrica, Quantower, ATAS, VolBook and DeepCharts.

Key takeaway

PRIME and FREES price the same evaluation differently. PRIME costs less per month but adds $119 on passing; FREES costs more per month and charges nothing on passing. Which works out cheaper depends on how many months you spend in the evaluation.

Payouts

The profit split is 85% to the trader and 15% retained by the firm, and the firm's help centre states this applies from the first payout with no scaling period. Minimum payout is $500 per request on standard accounts, with a maximum per request of $1,000 on 25K accounts, $1,500 on 50K and $2,000 on 100K. Monthly payout totals are listed as unlimited. FREES Max accounts use a lower $250 minimum and per-request maximums of $1,000, $2,000 and $2,500 across the three sizes.

When a payout is requested the account is frozen and trading pauses until the review completes. The firm states it has up to 48 hours to approve or deny a request, and up to a further 48 hours to send the funds. If an account is burned after approval but before funds arrive, the firm states the payout is still processed.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • No daily loss limit, no consistency rule and no minimum trading days on the PRIME and FREES evaluations.
  • News trading is permitted without restriction, subject to a 5 second minimum trade duration.
  • Two pricing structures for the same evaluation, letting traders choose between a lower monthly fee plus $119 activation or a higher monthly fee with no activation fee.

Cons

  • The 85% split is below the 90% offered by several futures firms in the same entry-price range.
  • Drawdown is trailing by default; end-of-day drawdown costs an additional $19 as an add-on.
  • Per-request payout maximums cap withdrawals at $1,000 to $2,000 depending on account size, so larger balances require multiple requests.

How Taurus Arena compares

Three futures firms listed on PropFirmMap sit in a similar entry-price band. Figures below are the entry price and profit split as listed in our database.

FirmEntry priceProfit splitPayout timing
Taurus Arena$59/month (PRIME 25K)85%Up to 48h approval, then up to 48h to send
Topstep$49/month (Trading Combine)90%On-demand
Elite Trader Funding$57 (10K EOD Fast Track Eval)Keep up to 100%Same-day approval
Phoenix Trader Funding$39/month (Spark Starter)90%Bi-Weekly

Topstep enters below Taurus Arena's PRIME 25K at $49 per month and lists a 90% split with on-demand payouts. Elite Trader Funding enters at a comparable $57 and lists a keep-up-to-100% structure with same-day payout approval. Phoenix Trader Funding is the cheapest of the four at $39 per month for its Spark Starter plan, listing a 90% split and bi-weekly payouts, though that plan carries a $29 one-time activation fee.

On headline split, Taurus Arena's 85% sits below all three. Where it differs is the rule set: the absence of a daily loss limit, a consistency rule and a minimum trading day requirement on its PRIME and FREES evaluations is a looser combination than many futures evaluations impose. Traders comparing on cost alone should account for the activation fee structure, since a PRIME pass costs $119 more than the monthly fees suggest, while FREES front-loads that cost into the subscription instead.

Verdict

Taurus Arena is a Cyprus-registered futures firm running simulated evaluations from $59 per month, with an 85/15 profit split that applies from the first payout. Its distinguishing feature is the choice between two fee structures for the same evaluation, alongside an evaluation rule set with no daily loss limit, no consistency requirement and no minimum trading days. Its 85% split is lower than the 90% common among comparable futures firms, and per-request payout ceilings of $1,000 to $2,000 mean larger withdrawals must be split across requests.

It suits traders who want a futures evaluation without daily loss limits or minimum trading day requirements, who trade around news events, and who prefer to choose between paying more monthly or paying an activation fee on passing. Traders who prioritise the highest available profit split, or who want to withdraw large amounts in a single request, will find other options in the same price range listed on our futures firm comparison.
