Main Benefits
A genuine asset-class specialist: rules are written around XAUUSD/gold rather than gold being tolerated inside a generic forex offer, and the whole instrument set (FX majors and minors, gold, silver, commodities, indices, select US-equity CFDs, crypto) stays tradable. The 12% maximum loss is fully static, locked to the opening balance and explicitly never trailing, so growing the account never moves the breach level. Payout terms are unusually trader-friendly on the details that normally carry the catch: no minimum withdrawal and no maximum cap, the evaluation fee is refunded in full with the first payout automatically, bank and Wise withdrawals carry zero fee, and the firm pays in under 48 hours (first payout 7 days from the first trade, then every 14 days). Weekend and overnight holding are unrestricted, and scalping, HFT and hedging are all permitted outright. Scaling adds 25% to balance and both drawdown limits every 90 profitable days, up to $2M.
Main Drawbacks
The advertised 'Up to 90% profit split' is not the default: the firm's own FAQ states the split is 80%, with 90% available only as a paid add-on or after three months of payouts. Several capabilities most firms include as standard are chargeable add-ons at checkout - news trading, EA/algorithmic trading, double leverage, removing the 7-day minimum and doubling the 30-day time limit - so the headline plan price understates the cost of a comparable package. A 40% best-day consistency rule is enforced at both evaluation review and payout, and combined with the hard 30-day time limit it has already produced a documented 1-star complaint from a trader who passed Phase 1 and was then failed for a single large day. US residents are not accepted. Base leverage is a modest 1:100. Two of the firm's own documents contradict each other on martingale and grid trading, and on the size of the post-breach reset discount. The TrustPilot base is thin at 17 reviews, Trustpilot flags that the firm has not replied to negative reviews, and the homepage 'Regulated' badge names no regulator.

Write a ReviewGold Funding is a proprietary trading firm built specifically around gold (XAUUSD) traders, operated by ALFMNY Media Limited, a Hong Kong company incorporated on 6 December 2024 and registered at Office 3906, 39th Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. It sells two simulated evaluation tracks on the MatchTrader platform: Rapid, a single-phase evaluation with one 10% profit target, and Classic, a two-phase evaluation with a 10% target followed by a 5% target. Both run on identical risk parameters - a static 12% maximum overall loss locked to the opening balance and a 5% daily loss limit measured from the end-of-day balance at midnight CET/CEST - and both lead to the same funded account with an 80% profit split, rising to 90% via add-on or after three months of payouts. Account sizes run from $50,000 to $200,000, with up to $1M in concurrent evaluations and scaling to $2M. The firm states it does not act as a broker and does not accept US traders.
