Match-Trader Prop Firms: The Journal and Copier Tools That Actually Connect
Match-Trader is a white-label platform built by Match-Trade Technologies, and a growing number of prop firms run it instead of MetaTrader. In our own database, 50 tracked firms offer it, including partnered firms like Funding Pips, City Traders Imperium, Blue Guardian and Aqua Funded. See the full list on our Match-Trader firms page.
Most trading journals and trade copiers advertise MetaTrader support first, because that is still where the largest share of retail accounts sit. If you are trading a Match-Trader funded account, the practical question is narrower: which tools actually name Match-Trader as a supported platform, on their own pages, right now. We checked our verified tool spec database for exactly that.
Of the 9 tools we have fully onboarded with verified specs, 3 declare Match-Trader support: Consistry (a trading journal), and two trade copiers, PickMyTrade and Traders Connect. The other 6, including our two other trade copiers and our charting/platform tools, do not list it.
The journal: Consistry
Consistry auto-syncs trade history from a connected account rather than requiring manual import. Its privacy page names the platforms it connects to, and Match-Trader is one of them, alongside MetaTrader (via MetaApi), cTrader, TopstepX, DXtrade, TradeLocker, Tradovate and NinjaTrader, all confirmed on consistry.com/privacy.
Pricing starts at $15/month for Premium, with a free tier available and a 14-day trial, both confirmed on consistry.com/pricing. Full spec sheet, including which fields we could not verify, is on the Consistry tool page.
The copiers: PickMyTrade and Traders Connect
A journal only reads your account; a copier writes trades into it. That is a materially bigger thing to trust with a funded account, so we checked both copiers' own product pages rather than their marketing copy.
| Tool | Starting price | Trial | Copy direction | Match-Trader named as | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PickMyTrade | $50/mo | 5 days, no card required | One-way | "MatchTrader" | pickmytrade.io/trade-copier |
| Traders Connect | $10/account/mo | Not stated in our data | One-way, with reverse copy available | "Match Trader" | tradersconnect.com/integrations |
The three spellings above (Match-Trader, MatchTrader, Match Trader) are quoted exactly as each vendor writes it on its own page. All three refer to the same platform; we use the hyphenated form elsewhere on this site to match the platform's own branding.
Traders Connect states an average copy latency of 20ms on tradersconnect.com/copier, along with equity-stop and max-drawdown-guard features documented at docs.tradersconnect.com. PickMyTrade does not publish a latency figure on any page we could find, so that field is recorded as unverified on our PickMyTrade tool page rather than estimated. Neither vendor publishes a claim that any specific Match-Trader prop firm has approved automated copying on its accounts, so we record that field as unverified for both, too.
A supported platform is not the same as a permitted strategy
Both copiers naming Match-Trader as a supported platform tells you the technical connection exists. It does not tell you whether the firm whose Match-Trader account you are trading permits copy trading at all. We ran exactly this check against a different platform's firms in an earlier piece and found a live contradiction between a copier's supported-firm list and the destination firm's own rules; see that piece for the mechanics of why the gap exists. The same caution applies here: read your specific firm's own trading-rules page before connecting either copier to a live evaluation or funded account.
Methodology
The 50-firm Match-Trader count comes from our platforms table, cross-referenced live this session. Every tool spec quoted above is read from that vendor's own page, cited by URL, and recorded in our tool_specs table with its own verification date. Fields we could not find a sourced answer for (PickMyTrade's latency, both copiers' prop-firm-approval status) are left unverified rather than filled in. No figure in this piece is estimated or carried over from a similar tool.
Disclosure
PropFirmMap is not a commercial partner of Consistry, PickMyTrade or Traders Connect. None of the three pays us a commission, and their inclusion here is based solely on their own published Match-Trader support, independent of partnership status.
Frequently asked questions
Does Match-Trader itself offer a built-in journal or copier?
Not as far as our data shows. The three tools in this piece are third-party services that connect to a Match-Trader account after it is opened, not features of the platform itself.
Which prop firms actually run Match-Trader?
50 in our tracked database as of this piece, including several partnered firms named above. See the full ranked list on our Match-Trader firms page.
Is a trade copier safer than a trading journal for a funded account?
They do different things and carry different risk. A journal only reads your trade history; a copier places live orders on your account, which is why we checked its rules exposure separately above.
What if my Match-Trader firm's rules don't mention copy trading?
Treat silence as unresolved, not as permission, and confirm directly with the firm's support channel before connecting any copier to a live account.
