Sway Funded Review: Plans, Rules, and How It Compares

Sway Funded Sway Funded

Sway Funded is a CFD proprietary trading firm registered in Saint Lucia and operating on its own proprietary platform and dashboard. The firm's public timeline dates its founding to February 2024, and it lists three acquisitions since then: MyFlashFunding in July 2024, Glow Node in August 2024, and Karma Prop in September 2024. The firm advertises more than 300 instruments across forex, commodities, stocks, indices and crypto, with spreads starting from 0.0 pips. Account sizes run from $1,000 to $200,000, and the headline reward share is up to 90% of simulated profits. PropFirmMap currently records a score of 6.9 and a safety grade of B for the firm. This review covers the three programs, the rules attached to each, and how the pricing sits against other CFD firms in our database.

The three programs and what they cost

Sway Funded sells three challenge types. Rapid is a single-phase evaluation. Regular is a two-phase evaluation. Instant places the trader directly into an SF Trader account with no evaluation phase. Rapid and Regular are both offered across nine account sizes from $1,000 to $200,000. Instant is offered across six sizes only, from $1,000 to $50,000, so the two larger balances are not available on that program.

Account sizeRapid (1 phase)Regular (2 phases)Instant (no evaluation)
$1,000$13$10$40
$2,500$35$22$99
$5,000$59$36$199
$10,000$99$66$399
$25,000$199$156$996
$50,000$319$289$1,990
$100,000$555$499Not offered
$150,000$749$679Not offered
$200,000$949$849Not offered

The pricing pattern is consistent across the range: the two-phase Regular program costs less than the single-phase Rapid program at every account size. At $100,000 the difference is $499 against $555, and at $200,000 it is $849 against $949. Traders paying for Rapid are paying for a shorter evaluation, not a cheaper one. The Instant program is priced well above both, at $1,990 for the $50,000 account against $319 for Rapid and $289 for Regular at the same size, which reflects that no evaluation is required before reaching an SF Trader account.

Rules that apply to each program

Several of the firm's published rules are shown as a pair of values, for example 5%/10% for daily drawdown and 10%/20% for maximum drawdown. Per the configuration recorded for this firm, the lower figure applies to the base account and the higher figure applies when the 20/10 add-on is purchased, which raises daily drawdown from 5% to 10% and maximum drawdown from 10% to 20%. The reward share follows the same structure, with 80% recorded as the base and up to 90% with the add-on on the Rapid and Regular programs.

On Rapid, the single phase carries a profit target displayed as 15%/30%. On Regular, phase one carries a target of 10%/20% and phase two carries 8%/16%, with the phase two fee recorded as free. Both programs require a minimum of 4 trading days, carry no time limit, and are recorded with no consistency rule. News trading and weekend trading are both permitted.

The Instant program is governed differently. Daily drawdown is 3%, maximum drawdown is 8%, the profit target is listed as a minimum of 8%, and a 20% consistency rule applies. It requires 8 minimum trading days rather than 4, and the reward share is tiered by the profit step reached: 55% at 8%, 65% at 12% and 75% at 16%.

Key takeaway

The Instant program is not simply a faster version of the evaluation programs. It carries a tighter 3% daily drawdown, an 8% maximum drawdown, a 20% consistency rule, 8 minimum trading days instead of 4, and a reward share that reaches 75% rather than 90%.

Rewards and payouts

Rewards are requested on demand rather than on a fixed schedule. The recorded minimum is $10 in net realised profit with no open positions, and the firm states processing within 24 hours. On Rapid and Regular a minimum of 4 trading days is required before the first reward, and the 4 day period resets after each reward. On Instant the equivalent figure is 8 trading days with an 8 day reset. A fee of 1.5% is applied to all reward payouts. The only payout method recorded for this firm is crypto. KYC is required and involves a government photo ID, a liveness selfie and proof of address.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • No consistency rule and no time limit on the Rapid and Regular programs, with news trading and weekend trading both permitted.
  • Rewards are available on demand from $10 in net realised profit, with a stated 24 hour processing time.
  • Entry pricing starts at $10 for the Regular $1,000 account, and the full range extends to a $200,000 account.

Cons

  • No TrustPilot rating is recorded for this firm in our database, so there is no independent review score on file to weigh against the firm's own claims.
  • A 1.5% fee is applied to all reward payouts, and crypto is the only recorded payout method.
  • The Instant program is capped at $50,000 and carries a 20% consistency rule, 8 minimum trading days and a reward share reaching 75%, all tighter than the evaluation programs.

How Sway Funded compares

Measured against the three highest-scoring CFD firms in the PropFirmMap database, Sway Funded sits below all three on our score and safety grade, while offering a lower entry price than any of them.

FirmPropFirmMap scoreSafety gradeRecorded profit splitLowest listed challenge fee
Sway Funded6.9BUp to 90%$10
Funding Pips8.9A+80-100%$29
The5ers8.7A+Up to 100%$22
FundedNext8.5A+Up to 95%$24.74

The gap in score and grade is the material difference here. Funding Pips at 8.9, The5ers at 8.7 and FundedNext at 8.5 all carry an A+ safety grade against Sway Funded's B, and all three record a maximum profit split at or above Sway Funded's 90%. Two of the three also have a longer operating history than a firm founded in February 2024.

Where Sway Funded differs is at the entry point and in the structure of the range. Its lowest listed challenge fee of $10 is under half of The5ers' $22 and roughly a third of Funding Pips' $29. For direct comparison at the $100,000 level, FundedNext lists a Stellar 2-Step $100K at $529.99 and a Stellar 1-Step $100K at $549.99, against Sway Funded's Regular $100K at $499 and Rapid $100K at $555. The two firms are closely matched at that size, with Sway Funded slightly cheaper on the two-phase route and slightly more expensive on the single-phase route.

At $100,000 the two-phase route costs $499 and the single-phase route costs $555. The shorter evaluation is the more expensive one at every account size.PropFirmMap

Verdict

Sway Funded is a reasonable fit for traders who want a low-cost entry point into a CFD evaluation and who value the absence of a consistency rule and a time limit on the Rapid and Regular programs. The $10 and $13 entry accounts make it inexpensive to test the platform and the reward process before committing to a larger balance, and on-demand rewards from $10 in net profit mean the payout mechanism can be exercised early rather than waited on. Traders who weight independent review volume heavily should note that no TrustPilot rating is on file for this firm, and that our recorded score of 6.9 and safety grade of B sit below the established CFD firms it competes with. Traders drawn to the Instant program specifically should read its rules separately from the evaluation programs, since its drawdown limits, consistency requirement and reward tiers are materially different.
