Tradeify Crypto Review 2026: APE-X, Plans, Rules and How It Compares
Tradeify Crypto is a crypto proprietary trading firm operating at tradeifycrypto.co, run by Tradeify Ventures LTD from a registered address in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, and listed with a United States contact location on its TrustPilot profile. The profile was claimed in January 2026, which makes this one of the newer names in the crypto prop category. The firm is the crypto arm of the Tradeify Futures brand and is led by co-founder and CEO Brett Simberkoff and co-founder and COO Vinan Mistry, both named on the company homepage.
The product is built specifically around crypto rather than adapted from a futures rulebook. The company FAQ states traders can access more than 100 crypto pairs including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Cardano and Polygon, and confirms that positions may be held overnight and through weekends with no time-based restrictions. Funding is offered through four routes: Instant Funding, a 1-Step evaluation, a 2-Step evaluation, and a pay-after-you-pass path branded APE-X. The published profit split is 80% and payouts are processed on demand.
Plans and pricing
Two Tradeify Crypto plans are currently verified on the company website at the $25,000 account size, and they represent two genuinely different commercial models rather than two sizes of the same product.
| Plan | Account size | Upfront price | Profit target | Drawdown | Profit split |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| APE-X 1-Step | $25,000 | $31 (list $49), plus a $139 activation fee after passing | 6% | 4% trailing balance | 80% |
| 1-Step Evaluation | $25,000 | $251 (list $359) | 12% | 6% max loss | 80% |
The distinction matters more than the headline numbers suggest. The APE-X route asks for a low entry fee and defers the bulk of the cost to a $139 activation fee that is only payable once the evaluation is passed, so a trader who fails pays $31 and nothing further. The standard 1-Step evaluation charges $251 upfront with no activation fee, but sets a 12% profit target against APE-X's 6%. A trader who rates their own pass probability highly pays less in total through the standard route, while a trader who wants to cap the cost of failure pays less through APE-X.
Tradeify Crypto is running a discount with the code AUG: 40% off 1-Step and 2-Step accounts and 35% off Instant and select APE-X accounts at the $10K and $25K sizes. The company states it ends 31 August, 11:59PM EST. The prices in the table above are the discounted figures shown on the site.
Rules summary
The two programs use different drawdown models, and this is the single most important rule difference to understand before funding an account.
APE-X applies a 4% trailing balance drawdown during the evaluation and carries no daily loss limit at all, in either the evaluation or the funded stage. Only the trailing maximum loss applies. On the first funded payout, the drawdown floor locks at the starting balance and the company describes that lock as permanent. Leverage is 1:5. There is no consistency requirement during the evaluation, but once funded a trader's highest single day cannot exceed 40% of total profit. The company states the evaluation can be passed in as little as one day.
The standard 1-Step program takes the opposite approach: a 3% daily loss limit and a 6% maximum loss, both stated at firm level, with a 12% profit target. As displayed on the 1-Step pricing widget, the program requires 3 minimum profitable days at 0.5% each and shows a 14-day payout cycle, against APE-X's on demand payouts.
On platforms, Tradeify Crypto runs DXTrade with TradingView charting. MetaTrader 5 is listed but the site's own footer disclaimer states that MT5 is not available to US clients, who can use DXTrade only. Payouts can be received through Rise or traditional payment methods, and a trade journal is built into the dashboard. The company has also added tokenized stocks, described on the homepage as powered by Hyperliquid.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Crypto-native rules: 100+ pairs with overnight and weekend holding permitted, which removes the forced daily close that futures-derived rulebooks impose.
- The APE-X route caps the cost of a failed attempt at $31 during the current promotion, because the $139 activation fee is only charged after a pass.
- Payouts are on demand on APE-X rather than tied to a fixed cycle, and the company reports a 22 hour 4 minute average processing time on its homepage.
Cons
- The APE-X trailing drawdown is easy to misread. A July 2026 TrustPilot reviewer described being closed out of a $50,000 Instant Funding account while the dashboard still displayed unused drawdown room. The company replied publicly that the "Max Loss Used figure was calculating against the original account balance rather than the live trailing floor" and that "that defect has now been fixed on the platform", while maintaining the closure itself followed the account rules.
- Several TrustPilot reviewers report friction getting into the DXTrade platform, including a 6 August 2026 review describing a wait for login credentials with no response at the time of writing.
- The site's own figures are not internally consistent. Aggregate funding is stated as $800K on the homepage but $600K on the APE-X page and on the company's TrustPilot description, and verified payout totals differ between those surfaces. The TrustPilot sample is also still small at 96 reviews.
How it compares
Measured against other crypto prop firms in the PropFirmMap database at the same $25,000 account size, Tradeify Crypto's standard 1-Step evaluation is the cheaper entry of the group, while its profit target is the most demanding.
| Firm | $25K plan | Price | Profit target | Max loss | Split | TrustPilot |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tradeify Crypto | 1-Step Evaluation | $251 | 12% | 6% | 80% | 4.2 |
| Propr | Classic 1-Step $25K | $275 | $2,500 (10%) | $1,500 (6% static) | 80% | 4.6 |
| Cointracts | Advance $25K 1-Step | $279 | $2,500 (10%) | $1,500 (6%) | Up to 90% | 3.8 |
| HyroTrader | Two Step 25,000 USDT | $299 | 8% | 6% of initial balance | 80% scaling to 90% | 4.1 |
Propr and
Cointracts both set a 10% target with a 6% maximum loss at this size, so a trader clears their target with a 1.67 to 1 ratio of target to allowed loss. Tradeify Crypto's 1-Step asks 12% against the same 6% loss allowance, a 2 to 1 ratio, in exchange for roughly $24 to $28 less upfront.
HyroTrader sets the lowest target of the four at 8%, but spreads it over two steps and charges the most at $299. Cointracts and HyroTrader both advertise splits that can rise above 80%, which Tradeify Crypto's published 80% does not.
Tradeify Crypto's APE-X plan has no direct equivalent in this group. At $31 upfront with a $139 activation fee charged only on a pass, and a 6% target against a 4% trailing drawdown, it trades a tighter and more complex drawdown model for a much lower cost of failure. None of the three comparison firms above offer a pay-after-you-pass structure at this size.
Verdict
Tradeify Crypto is a reasonable fit for traders who specifically need crypto market hours rather than a futures schedule, since overnight and weekend holding is permitted outright and more than 100 pairs are available. Within its own lineup, the standard 1-Step evaluation suits traders confident of passing, because $251 with no activation fee is cheaper in total than APE-X's $31 plus $139 once a pass is achieved, and the 6% static maximum loss is simpler to track than a trailing floor. APE-X suits traders who want to limit what a failed attempt costs and who are comfortable calculating a trailing drawdown themselves.
The caution is specific rather than general. The trailing drawdown on the funded stage locks permanently at the starting balance on the first payout, and the firm has publicly acknowledged and stated it has fixed a dashboard defect that previously displayed max loss against the original balance instead of the live trailing floor. Traders on any trailing-drawdown product here should verify the floor figure in their dashboard against their own record. At a TrustPilot score of 4.2 across 96 reviews and a profile claimed in January 2026, this is a firm with a short public track record, and traders sizing an account should weigh that alongside the pricing.
All pricing, rules and rating figures in this review were verified against tradeifycrypto.co, the Tradeify Crypto APE-X page and the company's TrustPilot profile on 11 August 2026. Promotional pricing changes; check the current figure on the firm's site before purchasing.
